Opportunity Statement:

Loop SaaS project is with our Loop B2C project, so when the opportunity arised to develop this tool for businesses who used to develop apps to get this kind of direct and detailed data of their users. For potential users they lay back on social media but there’s no way to know what those users really think.

Well, to be able to solve that with our team was a great challange to overcome. This platform was complicated but needed to be super simple and integrated with Loop. Loop SaaS was a business strategy and marketing tool all together so different users with different needs would use this platform easy peasy.

The features of the platform needed to be the selling point of this product. We started from scratch with getting to know our future users before even thinking about the features.

Our Role:

Re-Branding / User Research / User Interviews / User Testing / UXD / UID / Prototyping / Pitch Deck

The Research:

We’ve collaborated the user research process with Loop’s user researcher and marketing strategist. After 23 interviews with marketing directors, growth strategiest and sales directors from different companies; we had collected of the need and expectations.

We asked how they collect user data and analyze it for strategies and researched all possible competitors in the current market.

Problem Statements:

  • Research companies help businesses to collect some data and test certain ideas but they are incapable to analyze mass opinion.
  • For businesses it’s very expensive to conduct market research.
  • Even with social media marketing businesses are not able to reach users directly to learn their thoughts and understand their values.
  • The data collected from social media apps are only used for marketing purposes instead of helping to strengthen company’s researching & strategic capabilities.

Design Solutions:

  • Companies can track their user activity with live boards.
  • Always including overview / sum for complicated boards with multiple variable datas, to make data readable and understandable for personas with different tech knowledge.
  • Behavioral dashboard for companies to analyze specific information compared to account users normal and expected behavior.
  • Easy A/B tests with fast tracking of content details.

Design Objectives:

  1. Conducting user interviews overall the design process to test ideas and understand their needs better for phase 2 updates.
  2. Information architecture analysis for each competitor’s design solution and understanding how they solve user problems.
  3. Simplicity was the main objective for this project. We wanted different stakeholders and managers to be able to use this platform instantly and effectively.
  4. Couraged percentage based analyzations for easy comparisons.
  5. Creating B2B official profiles for Loop app

Early Insights:

We analyzed all data available to be driven from Loop app into this Loop SaaS platform and how to make it meaningful to our persona at a glance?

Research feature was the main attraction of our app which normally costed too much money for business to either work with research companies or develop their own app. We were promising for easy research for companies. So the design needed to first support that expectation.

  • Overview: Sum of all data, launch dashboard, live tracking, general analysis of all ongoing research.
  • Comparison: Each ongoing research or loop can be compared one-to-one or as a group in detailed analysis next to another.
  • Engagement: All about users. Such as the traffic, how many users, how many followers, how many interacted in every way in detail.
  • Loops: More detailed information about our researches. We can see all of our loops and filter them to dive into more information.

MVP:

The simplicity need of the design and re-thinking every decision because of the backend development complexity was the two main issues of arriving to MVP. We discovered our ability to solve so many user problems but phased out the project to reach expected product deadlines.

Last Touch:

We revisited some of our best interviewee to test out the Loop SaaS prototype and capture their reactions. We collected so many data for next phases and retouched some of the areas to make our design even simpler!
